The Luv'n Life Mountain Lodge is a luxurious executive's dream vacation home.  Exquisitely decorated with an abundance of personal touches and luxury on 1.5 acres of privately owned property. Sitting on the threshold of Pisgah National Forest and facing the Black Mountain range of North Carolina Near Burnsville, Spruce Pine and Little Switzerland. 

The Luv'n Life Mountain Lodge is just two miles from North Carolina's famous Blue Ridge Parkway. The home combines luxury and comfort with the secluded natural beauty of Mother Nature right at your doorstep. Two creeks run on either side of the property and their relaxing sounds can be heard from both the upper and lower decks. The National Forest hiking trail to Mt. Mitchell is only a few yards from your back door. If golf is your game The Mt. Mitchell Golf and Country Club is a 2 minute drive from the house. Grassy Creek Golf and Country Club, located in Spruce Pine, is about a 30 minute drive.

Located at Mt Mitchell Golf Course, and right over top the South Toe River, bring your fly rod and waders!!  So close, you can hear the water rushing by, and in the night its like listening to rain on the roof.  This is trout fishing at its best, with lots of big Rainbow, German Brown, and lots of Brook trout, just a dozen steps away.  National Forest across the street, becons the hiker.  Roaring Fork waterfalls 1 mile away (or you can hike up and over the ridge).  Black Mountain recreation area (Pisgah National Forest) about 2 miles away has lots of trail heads to Mt Mitchell and other hiking destinations.  Only 2 or 3 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway at mile marker 344.Less than an hour from Asheville.  All weather road, this is only an hour from skiing. Pets OK, but check with us first. No smoking in ANY of our units. You may smoke on the porch.

3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, and a wonderful deck overlooking the South Toe River, with nothing but woods beyond.  Just steps from "Sally's" Restuarant and "Ballew's General Store" in the little hamlet of Hamrick.

About 200 yards walk to the Carolina Hemlocks Recreation Park operated by the US Forest Service.  You can rent inner tubes and roll them to the upper part of the campground there, and tube your way all the way home, takes about 1/2 hour back to the house via the water.  Best trout fishing in the eastern US with lots of native brook trout, and stocked rainbows and brown trout.

The river is deep enough to swim in, and this home features an easy grassy walk down to the river, a hammock and a fire pit on the banks so you can roast those marshmallows and hot dogs.

Not a big house, but not a lot of money to rent!  $550/week except October which is $900/week (peak season you know, lots of great colors along the river).  Plus cleaning fee of $65 and 9.75% taxes of course.

TV with cable & videos, and you only need to bring your toothbrush, and food and drink.
